Eligibility Criteria
Educational and Technical Qualifications
- Programmer:
- MCA or BE/B.Tech with at least 60% marks in computer-related areas.
- Master’s Degree in Physics, Maths, Statistics, Management, Operational Research, or Economics with a post-graduate diploma in Computer Science and Application and three years of computer programming experience.
- Knowledge of Punjabi language up to matriculation or equivalent.
- Junior Environmental Engineer:
- First-class diploma in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Six months computer course from a reputed institute.
- Junior Scientific Officer:
- First-class Master’s degree in Life Science, Basic Science, Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Hydrology, Microbiology, or related sciences with three years of analytical work experience.
- Six months computer course from a reputed institute.
- Assistant Programmer:
- Graduate in Science, Maths, Statistics, Commerce, Economics, or Computer Science.
- One-year diploma in Computer Application.
- Two years of experience in computer programming.
- Care Taker:
- Three-year diploma in Mechanical Engineering, preference given to candidates with a diploma in automobile engineering or experience with vehicles, lifts, generators, and other mechanical/electrical equipment.
- Six months computer course from a reputed institute.
Age Limit
- General Category: 18 to 37 years as of January 1, 2024.
- SC/BC Categories: Up to 42 years.
- Government Employees: Up to 45 years.
- Ex-Servicemen: Age limit according to Punjab Recruitment of Ex-servicemen Rules, 1982, with service years in the army subtracted from age.
- Widows, Divorcees, and Other Categories: Up to 40 years.
