Eligibility Criteria : SSC Vacancy 2024
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply:
- Current Employment:
- Officers under the Central Government, State Governments, Universities, Recognized Research Institutions, Public Sector Undertakings, Statutory, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Organizations.
- Holding analogous posts on a regular basis; OR
- With five years of regular service in posts in Level-9 or equivalent; OR
- With eight years of regular service in posts in Level-6 or equivalent.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Statistical Mathematics, Operations Research, Physics, Economics/Commerce (with statistics), or a Degree in Engineering/Computer Science from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Seven years of experience in electronic data processing work, with at least three years of experience in actual programming on an electronic computer.
Desirable Qualifications
- Formal training in computer programming/system design/analysis.
Additional Information
- Age Limit: The maximum age limit for deputation shall not exceed 56 years as of the closing date of receipt of applications.
- Tenure: The appointment will be made on a deputation basis initially for a period of three years, extendable up to seven years.
